Kagiso Exhibitions & Events (KEE) have appointed Angeline Muzamhindo 37, as its Chief Financial Officer. Muzhamhindo will be responsible for the overall financial reporting and the strategic financial affairs for Kagiso Exhibitions & Events. She will also sit on various committees representing KEE to ensure compliance with the legal, financial, human resources and IT policies of the company.

Kagiso Exhibitions & Events has been appointed by the Department of Water Affairs & Forestry to facilitate the Department and South Africa's participation at Expo Zaragoza 2008 in the Spanish city of Zaragoza, from 14 June to 14 September 2008.

Bling it on for the Durban Motor Show 01.04.2008

March saw a 5-day motoring extravaganza at the Durban Exhibition Centre, which boasted attendance figures up by 8,000 from the previous year. Several factors accounted for this improvement. We changed the date away from the Easter weekend, which was well received. There was a more exciting line-up of events, including a competition held to find South Africa's King of Custom, who was crowned at the show, and the sale of a silver Bentley worth R2.6 million.

As 2007 IRB Rugby World Cup Final fever swept the nation, fans joined in on the action a little closer to home at a fan park hosted by Kagiso Exhibitions& Events, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSE listed, Kagiso Media. The fan park boasted the latest technology, with a specially imported mega-television screen from Italy, providing the audience with an optimum view of the final between South Africa and England.
